Headline grabber

                                                                     I have your Attention now

 To get the readers, you need what is known in the writing community as a hook.

This is a device which draws the reader to your article, or keeps them reading the story; usually applied in the first chapter of a book, it can be some statement or a question.

Take for example my recent article "My Struggle with Addiction," unless you knew me, you may assume I was writing about illicit drugs not health foods, either way it got your attention.

I do have another food addiction, I love Garlic, again Garlic has several health benefits.
