Blowing in the wind

 Take it easy

                                                       Summer Breeze

As much as I enjoy the heatwave, I would enjoy it more if there was some air movement, sometimes there is so mch humidity, it is hard to breathe. On one of my last walks back from Asda in Whitchurchi, I nearly didn't get home as I couldn't breathe

Summer Breeze

Tales of the riverbank

A secluded rendezvous
With the heatwave easing a little, and a gentle breeze blowing, it is time to think of a romantic walk along a riverbank, holding the hand of your partner.
My friend, Svitlana, has this vision of us finding a secluded beach, and having a quiet hug and kiss without being disturbed,
Who didn't think that sounds like the "forbidden scene," in From Here to Eternity, with Burt Reynolds, and Deborah Kerr?
I must admit, the idea does sound romantic, I know of such a beach in Yorkshire

In the cool of the night

 Ghosts of Jazz

An evening with Svitlana
Now the heatwave has eased, it is a plaeasant morning, it would have been ideal for an evening with my friend, Svitlana, The two of us walking by a river, listening to the water rippling, and watching the birds dipping; you'll have to excuse the old romantic.

Solar Flare

 A Thriving Blog

Unusual Events
I wonder if the heatwave, or a rise in solar flare activity is the cause of the sudden rise in the readers of my blog?
If I was arrogant, which I am not, I could think my writing has gripped the reading public, but as I rarely write about the new trend, I find it hard to explain the rise

Heatwave

 Frostpunk

From Tropico to Frostpunk
I know it is a silly notion 😀😀. In this heatwave, I feel like playing Frostpunk rather than Tropico, to give the feeling of being cooler.
I have not given Frostpunk a proper try out, though I considered buying Frostpunk 2, a few months ago
