The Black Dahlia Murder

 Los Angeles

Elizabeth Short
During January of 1947,Los Angeles was gripped in the throws of the notorious The Black Dahlia Murder. This case rivalled the Jack the Ripper murders in its brutallity, yet, it was so different.
Both cases are crimes against women, in what was considered a "dubious" profession, Miss Short wished to be an actress.

It is my view, the Dahlia murders were done by a man working in the meat trade, why.

Most criminals would dissect a body by cutting the joints, Miss Short was sawn in half through the torso; doing that requires a level of hatred I don't care to think of, the power to cut a body in half is rage gone wild. I think it was done by a man in the neat trade because to cut the body you would require the use of a chainsaw, and a means to drain the blood, both available to a worker in an abbatoir - I may be wrong - also, an abbatoir worker would raise no eyebrows if seen with blood on thier clothes, or shoes.

A lady would be more likely to disfigure a rival, a way of saying no man would wish to see you. This crime is a case for nobody can have you, but me.
