Make me an Offer
As I am not putting any direct links to my eBay page online, if you are "watching" a DVD, now is the time to make me an offer to buy.
I will not be adding to the page, for the near future, but there are some DVDs which I may take down for my collection of movies from India.
If you like the films of Shammi Kapoor, I have some on my page for sale. I mistakenly bought them as I saw Sharmila Tagore is in them, but I found I can't stand Shammi.

For the last few days, I have been pondering about buying this box set of Rajesh Khanna films, as I do enjoy watching him.
There were a couple of issues I needed to resolve, which I did.
I have two of the films already, if I thought I could sell them on my eBay page, I would add them, but sales are non-existent at the moment.
There is a larger issue than trying to sell some DVDs to offset my costs.
This is a double-barrelled issue, half of the other films do not appeal to me as stories, and they feature Tanuja, an actress I dislike.
I don't usually play a trend
Though I don't usually use a trend to boost my viewers, this month, I have found two good trends which may aid my DVD sales. I have hit on two young men in India who enjoy my posts on Rani Mukerji, and Madhuri Dixit. All I need is for the same to happen for my posts on Raveena Tandon, and I may be selling DVDs.
Two offers for DVDs

The week before Christmas, I said I was putting my Indian DVDs for sale on eBay, and I estimated there could be 100.
My ball park estimate, without any idea, has turned out to be spot on. I have 92 for sale as I write this blog, and not more than six to add, this combimed with the sale earlier this week comes very close to 100.
I do have some I need to check, but as far as I can judge, the 100 will be the limit for me. My new policy is to be more careful when buying, I bought many last year as they had some of my favourite Bollywood people in, but the rest of the cast let the film down for me.
My quota for a month
My wish for 2025 is to sell at least one DVD from my page on eBay, I chose a low number, so I would not expect too much, an Ideal figure would be 1-a-week, which would mean by Christmas, I would have sold half of my Indian DVDs on eBay.
I estimated around 100, I think I could have underestimated the number by close to 25%, judging from a review of plots, and casts in the films.
1970's Horror films
I will make no excuse, I think Reena Roy was a beautiful lady, a great actress, and a v good dancer, which is why I enjoy most of her Bollywood films.
I saw MOST, as I am not swayed by me personal opinions when I decide if I enjoy a film. The movie Jadu Tona is probably the best example so far; it features Ms. Roy, at the start of her rise, and she is very attractive in her late teens, however, the film is distasteful to me.
If the intention was to repel the viewer, the producer succeeded in his objective here. The story is a remake of The Omen, but with the bad aspects of 1970's horror added. The main disturbance comes from the use of flashing images which may give rise to a headache if you are light sensitive.
Though I usually enjoy Ms. Roy, this is one DVD going in the pile of 100 DVDs for sale.
A Growing Selection
By the end of the month, I hope to have 100 DVDs from India on sale on eBay.
I am not a business, only a person who has some films to sell, because my tastes changed, or I didn't enjoy a film.
I am trying to watch two films a day, I can't always manage this, some films are too long to maintian the double, and others will pick up "the slack," of for some reason I don't wish to watch them.
DVD category
I can put most of my selections, to examine, in three categories.
Ek - A film I look at, and say WTF< why did I but this?
DO - A film I look at, and say, well; I will see, the cast looks OKay.
Teen - A film I see, and say, "That is a Keeper."
