In the last two weeks I noticed my blog has been read more, and more in the Muslim community. Yet, though I posted lots about Israel, nobody there has read my posts.

Also, I noted, my posts are being seen as much in South America, as they are in the USA, and Canada

A Big Thank You to my Readers

I had a shock a few minutes ago, as usual, I checked to see how my blog figures are for the day. To my surprise, I had over 1.3K readers today.

I think the success of the blog today is because rather than having the posts telling the readers something, I have been posing a question with the post. By doing this, the reader feels part of the blog, rather than being seen as the subject of a lecture.

For most of my time as a blogger, I have struggled to have the blog read in the Southern Hemisphere, that changed this month.

This week, the largest number of readers outide Hong Kong, and Singapore are in Brazil, and Argentina.

Taking in the size of the continents, I have more readers in South America than Asia. I say South, not Southern America

The expanding world of my blog

Welcome to readers in Chechia, to old satagers such as me, this area is the western section of what was until 1991, Czechoslovakia, then like many areas in the region, a break with Russia, and wars of religion split the country.

The problem with such states is that like the series, Novine, which I am watching from a Netflix download, one side's war hero is the other side war criminal, especially in Bosnia/ Croatia arena.

Novine is about the running of an independent newspaper, the first person to buy the paper from its original owners bought the paper so he could hide the fact his mother killed a pedestrian in a motor accident when she was driving under the influence of alcohol.

An Expanding blog

I am always interested to see where my blog gets read.

Yesterday was a little surprising for me, not only was there an amazing number of readers for the blog (760), but the majority of them were in Germany, and Austria, areas where I had trouble gaining readers.

My hope for 2025

My hope for the New Year is that my blog will expand into new regions; there are areas where it has not been read, ot has it?

Why ask a question?

SInce the early days, there has been a section on the reading called "others," which countries are there I have no idea, some I could think of include Australia, New Zealand, Portugal, Spain, and China.

I could say it is Catonlic countries, but I had readers in both Mexico, and Poland recently.

I can't recaal any Muslim states reading my blog. That could be for several reasons. I've never seen any of the countries in Scandinavia noted, not the Middle East. Another area I have noticed a lack of readers in in the EU.

I am surprised I get few readers from Canada the size of the country.
