One of the things Clara talked me into believing was that we could enjoy some Film Noir together on an evening.

It didn't take me long to realise, she wasn't making suggestions, but going with my ideas, such as visiting Slimbridge.

Anyway, she is behind me now, though she did contact the blog last night, my reply was polite, but uninviting.

She may thibk she can get back on my good side, but I have moved on. I am not broken-hearted, I was prepared to leave her over a month ago; I was tired of her lies.

I have alwas had a thing for Film Noir movies. probably because like life, there is no real right or wrong, only shades of grey. 

The first eBook sale I had was for a Film Noir themed short story (shown above).

I got the idea for the story while on vacation in Lac La Biche, Alberta, Canada when I saw a lake beginning to freeze in the November of 2009.

Months before I earned my award, I was selling some of my eBook content online.

This is the new cover image for the first eBook I sold; the sale was to a lady in Berlin, Germany.

The short story was praised for its authentic noir styling by a police officer from Queensland, Australia.

The interesting story behind the short story is I got the idea from a trip I had the year before to Lac La Biche, Alberta, Canada.

A secondary story of intrigue is the sequel sold as soon as its went online.
