Tropico

As seeking romance is off my list of things to do, I am centering my life around the Tropico series of PC Games. I have been a big fan of the series since it began, the only game I didn't get on with was Tropico 2

What would I choose?

I am undecided as to should I buy Tropico 6.

I have been a fan of the Tropico series since it began, in the original game, you could design your island, not only the crops and buildings.

The big draw for number 6 is that it now has an online feature were you can join, or have others join, in the game with a new range of features.

Another draw is you can "steal" tourist items from certain countries, most are regular items such as the Eiffel Tower, the Taj Mahal, and the Empire State building.

There are certain objects I would choose which are probably on the list, such as Christ on the Mountain from Rio de Janeiro. I was thinking what would I like?

Rather than the Taj Mahal, i would choose either the Red Fort in Agra, or the Gateway to India from Mumbai, if i was to chose an item from India.

From France, I would prefer Notre Dame cathederal. From Germany, I would choose The Brandenburg Gate. If I had to choose an item from Egypt, I would have chosen the temple of Karnak.

The choice of religious building has nothing to do with religion, I like churches for their style

Tropico 4

After reading the reviews of Tropico 6, I decided not to purchase the game.

The main complaints are the army is ineffective, even on the highest priority, there are endless storms, and you have to spend an inordinate amount of money finding mines. The online aspect of the game is almost inoperative, as few people play the games.

The general view is Tropico 4 is the best of the games.

A Thriving Business

I have enjoyed the Tropico series from the start, the only game I couldn't get on with was Tropico 2, where you build a pirate island.

Tropico 4 is my favourite, but I am getting on well with Tropico 5. I am undecided on buying Tropico 6, the buzz would be selling to other islands, possibly online gamers, one thing which interested me was the possibility of stealing well-known treasures from other countries to enhance my island, however they are so few to steal, having looked at the option, none attract me.

I can afford the game; one thing is the fact I won't being buying Frostpunk 2, I can't get on with Frostpunk, so there is no point buying the sequel
