This graph showing the decline of the financial status of Germany, may well represent the downfall of Morrisons soon.

They sacked a loyal employee after 17 years for apprehending a shoplifter. This action, only weeks after Waitrose did the same could become a trend.

The men should be publicly applauded for thier vigilence, not lose their jobs. In defence of the companies, the cost of a court case far outways the value of the goods taken, so a court case is not an option, why not lower the prices?

If you read my blog, you will have noticed I am a collector of old films from India, in other words pre-Bollywood. The early days of Bollywood did little for me, they were mainly musicals; I can understand the need for this as the country is one of the poorest in the world, and the need for a time to forget reality is necessary.

Collecting older film can be costly, I needed to set myself a target price to weigh against my wish to have the film in my selection. There are several films I would like to buy, but the price is too high - in my opinion - or I cannot afford them.

I have bought some films I wished I hadn't, these I have put on eBay. Most of the films I am selling are worth more than I charge; there again, it is not their value, but the sale that is important, and I could charge myself out of a sale if I ask a more reasonable price.
