What is Problem?
I never had an issue with citizens carrying an ID card, I used to have an ID when I was in the Royal Air Force, it was a chargeable offence not to carry it at all times.
Most people have either a Drivers Licence, or a Passport, what is the difference both are ID cards.
My bone of contention is why should I pay £100 for a renewed passport when I have no money, or intention to leave the UK, when for £25 I can purchase the Citizen's Card?
