Brexit is not to blame
Electric cars
Another thing Brexit was blamed for is the closure of the Honda factory in Swindon.
Again, this had nothing to do with leaving the EU, the closure was a bad management choice by Honda. The management decided to switch production from regular cars to electric cars thinking they would be a boom industry; it never happened, and with the numerous fires, and accidents they cause electric cars won't be anywhere near as popular as they thought for many years.
An aspect nobody has considered is what are you going to do when the battery reaches the end of its life?
