The Doctor's Dilemna
The Hindi romance, Dil ek Mandir, is a classic love triangle, but with an added edge of mystery as one of the triangle is a doctor who treats cancer.
Rajendra Kumar (left) is a doctor who is in love with Meena Kumari, to further his career he leaves India to train in the USA, on his return, he finds she has married Raaj Kumar.
Desolate, he dedicates his life to becoming a cancer specialist; this is where the dielmna begins. He is treating a patient, when the parient's wife turns up. She is none other than his former lover, what to do?
As a doctor you are duty bound to heal people, but knowing the man you are treating married the lady you loved must have made the choice to operate rather galling.
