The Bollywood Trend
My way
If you view the way they I list the cast for my Indian DVDs on eBay, you could think I follow the Bollywood style of Male lead, Secondary Male, Female lead; that is not how I list the cast.
My Way
An example to see my way is in the 60's, and 70's names like Ashok Kumar, Jeetendra, or Mithun Chakraborty could boost a films sales; now, they are forgotten.
My trend is to list the actor/ actress I feel has the best sales possibility for my disc; in this case Madhuri Dixit, Raveena Tandon, Vidya Balan, and Rani Mukerji come boefore Akshay Kumar, Vivek Oberoi, John Abraham, or Sanjay Kapoor.
The way I present my disc listings has no releveance to the rampant sexism in Bollywood, but to how I feel the film benefit by having a name which is recognised easily today.
I do have an issue which is unsolveable.
Most of the films I watch are from the era 1950 - 1990, and the stars of those days are forgotten now
