I still don't believe what I was told
Despite being told many times that other writers consider my work as excellent, I still find it hard to accept.
My issue is a lack of confidence in my ability, this is borne out of a lack of sales of my eBook selection. I will clarify the situation, I never expected my selection to earn a lot, but I hoped they would have sold better than they did.
There were two main obstacles, one was I entered my award-winning book, The Chronicles of Mark Johnson, into a Kindle Free Weekend, in the hope it would boost its Amazon rating. The weekend did the opposite, the book crashed and didn't recover.
The other obstruction was that the magazine Abandoned Towers wanted to serialise the stories, but I needed some editing done, the person I asked, not only didn't do the task, she went online and trashed the book
