This is the story of three summers, 1986, 87, and 88.
In 1986, I changed my Summer holiday to August, to get married, it rained. Im 1987, a friend swapped with me, so I had an August holiday again, again it rained. In 1988, I had an August holiday, yes, it rained. After that, my friends in Bristol Museum asked me when I planned my holiday, so they could avoid my weeks 🤣🤣. I would rather have two one-week breaks, than a two-week break.
This year, I have been invited for a break to visit my friend, Svitlana, in Oxfordshire, as she wishes the days to get to know me, rather than our online chats.
