I expect Objective 2 the erasure of all blogs relating to the scam going back to November to be unseen by my laptop, I know they will be here, but I'll be happy to know, unless I search for them they will be buried.

Once this is completed, I will have almost have deleted ALL posts of the scam from regular viewing. From now, I am not adding tags to any of the posts realting to either the person "claiming" to be Pamela Olsted, or her "sister,"

My focus is on building a relationship with Svitlana, my friend in Didcot.

The story behind the eBook

Like many of my short stories, the story of Nerja had nothing to do with were the story ended up.

At the time of geting the idea for the story, I was watching a music vdeo of a light aircraft flying over Manchester, half-way though, I had the thought, "What would happen if it vanished, in sight of all the people in the offices?"

The short story, is a story about a light aircraft that stalls over Lac La Biche, Alberta, Canada, and the pilot and passenger have to rely on faith to survive.

This eBook earned two 5-star ratings on Amazon in 2011. The same person who later sabotaged my award-winner - Chronicles of Mark Johnson - got a friend to hack the site, to delete one of the ratings

The following year, Don Ford, a writer in Canada asked for a copy for his tablet, being innocent, I didn't realise he was so impressed, he copied the story, and passed it as one of his.

Something I have to look forward to, is beginning a friendship with Svitlana, she lives in Didcot. At the moment, our friendship is limited to an hour a night chatting online, as I have financial issues to clear.

Once we meet, we are hoping to move from friendship into a staus of a relationship, we have got on well online for the four months we have been chatting.

To some, it may appear odd that two people in their 70's can find romance again, it did to me at first. When my wife passed away in January, 2025, I never considered another relationship.

One city I used to love to revisit is Cheltenham, there is so much to see, and do. Like most places, on a Sunday, after lunch the city goes dull, as few shops are open, that is why I tried not to go to music events which had nothing happening on the Sunday.

I had a puzzling phone call one day in Cheltenham, I had arranged to meet a lady on the Saturday evening, at around 1:00 pm, I got a call from her saying "I'm sorry, Bob, I can't make it tonight. Please don't call back, this is a friend's phone."

Had she got my name wrong, or did she misdial a man called Bob?

My friend Svitlana is excited to know there are publishers interested in my writing, this year, I have been contacted by several publishers, mostly interested in the book on this post,

While they are excited about working with me, I have concerns. Mainly, I cannot afford the minimum publicity  paxkages offered as I am a disabled senior citizen, struggling to clear an overdraft.

Also, an as important, I lost interest in writing several years after a 15-year struggle for recognition. I probably could get back "in the zone," if I could build up my belief in my ability (again), but it is hard to light a fire that went out of fuel years ago. To add to that, my recent accident left me with painful hands

Misleading Information

It is a generational thing, Catford to me relates to dog racing, to the next gen, it means Eastenders on TV.

Looking back, my trip to Catford was one of my worst meetings with a lady I met online.

She said, she'd like to meet one weekend, we chose Sarurday the 14th, as there are few trains on the weekend, we met on Friday the 13th. That sould have been a warning, by the time I travelled from Bristol to Swindon, the grey skies had turned to snow, this was in February. By the time I got to Paddington Station, I was cold, and shivering. We travelled on the underground from Charring Cross to Catford, I have been on many stations in the UK, without a doubt Charring Cross is the most dangerous. The escalator from the station to the underground station is almost vertical.

We hadn't been in 15 minutes, when she had a phone call from a "sick friend," this is an old ploy. It put me in an awkward situation, if I said he couldn't see her, as I had come to see her, I may as well go home then and there. If I said, Okay, and tried to salvage something, either way the meeting was over.

The weekend was a total bust, we had argument after argument.

Two things did happen that could have shone a light on the matter.

A few days before the trip, I was on a flight, and we passed over an area I didn't know, I asked the flight manager "Where are we?" She replied, "We are flying over Catford." Later in the dream, the plane crashed on a deserted island, with no radio, and out of the traffic lanes.

The second thing happened two weeks after my return, which made me laugh, "She phoned me, and said she was reporting me for harassmnet." 

I laughed, then explained why she had no chance of success, I'd only contacted her once a week, in reply to her contacting me, this I said is NOT harassment, even if I contacted you once a day, the police wouldn't move

What happened a few minutes ago, I can only think is the adrenilin from the accident being drained. It felt as if somebody had pulled a lig out, and a wave flooded out.

I wonder if there is a medical condition which stops me from panicking at the sight of blood? My Middlesbrough t-shirt, and my trousers were covered in blood, and I had a bad gash over my eye, yet, there was no sense of panic.

These videos demonstrate what I like, and dislike about modern Country Music.

In the top one, Carrie Underwood sings well, but she dressed like Barbie. In the bottom, what can I say about The Judds, they hardly samg, mama looks like a chipmunk, and Wynonna's tan is so bad it reminds me of Ross in a Friends episode.

I never liked Dolly Parton, not for how she portrayed herself, in the 60's it was hard for a lady to be seen as other than a back-up singer, unless you listen to the Carter family. Dolly had to become what she did, to get away from being seen as Porter Waggoner's bavk-up, I admire her for breaking free. The major female singers were Kitty Wells, and Patsy Cline at that time. Two of my least favourite recordings are Crazy, sung by Patsy Cline, and Jolene by DP. 

Dolly had the same issue as Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland, and many singers, when they stretch for high notes, their accent grates.

There is a wondeful crossover series called CMT, where artists from various styles join in songs, my favourite combo is Martina McBride, and Pat Benatar, what a combo!!!!!! Two attractive ladies, and two wonderful voices.

What do I find offensive?

I am no Prude

What I find offensive, personally, is ladies like those on Granny Site UK, who show everything online. That has nothing to do with their age, or how attractive I view them, I think images of ladies in the nude, should be kept private. The same goes for men, that is why they only partially- undressed images of me, are head and shoulders shots. 

This explains why I am populatronline, as I am not expressing my sexauality as the focus, I rely more on respect and personality. If a lady gets to know me, and sees me as attractive, that is a bouus.

On a general level, what I find offensive is the constant media war with Israel. They didn't start the wars, they didn't go killing the people in Gaza, for no reason, as Palestine does.

The people of Gaza chose help from Palestine in 1978, this allowed Palestine, and Hamas to se the area as a missile silo. What the media omit, among many things, is Hamas use "soft targets" such as schools, and civillian sites to hide in, then blame Isreal for killing civilians, If you HIDE in a civillian area, don't go crying to the United Nations when some get killed by a state defending itself.

Another aspect of the war with religion, is that while the media chase Isreal for killing Muslims in Gaza, Thousands of Christians are massacred each month in Africa, and nobody hears about that. Israel has killed less than 10% of that in all the wars in the Middle East, but that doesn't matter, Israel sells papers, Africa does not.

I support Israel with no reason based in politics, or religion. I support Israel to attempt to reach people to explain, wh would the smallest nation in the Middle East wish to start a war with much larger, better armed, and more media supportedI agree some of m images taken last week at haospital could be seen as offensive, and be blocked from Twitter, but what about the constant posts blaming Israel for the deaths in Gaza?

I have explained dozens of times, Israel did NOT cause the conflict, the state is defending itself from attacks based in Gaza, and funded from within Palestine.

Consider this.

In 1948, Israel was begging countries for aid to defend herself, while the Arab states were being funded from Russia. In 1978, Gaza was given the choice, get aid from Israel, or Palestine, Palestine was their choice, over time, that could have been changed, but nothing happened.

Israel has buit a state with an earned reputation, while Gaza, and Palestine with far more aid have established terrorist cells.

I am very grateful for uplaoding YouTube Premium, I can watch the comedy series Reba featuring singer Reba McEntire.

If you watch series from the USA, you may recognise the younger daughter, she is Scarlett Pomers who played Naomi Wildman in Star Trek Deep Space 9.

I recognised another actress from a US comedy series I enjoyed during the first series, Park Overall, who payed nurse Laverne in Empty Nest.

Flummery is a term used by Rex Stout's detective Nero Wolfe, to describe rubbish. That is the most polite way I can describe the two people who scammed me fron November to June.

I have to admit to being amazed at the ammount of interest which sprang up this year, about my writing, at a time when I have given up. It does raise the question, what could I have been, if I had lived in the USA, and had the money for publicity?

I can tell you, it is not vanity, my friend, Svitlana, in Oxfordshire knew me months before the accident, and my nose didn't bother her. I told her, I broke my nose playing cricket when I was 11.

If I do get it corrected, which is what the surgeons,Svitlana, and my children suggest, it will be to easy my breatihng

My friend, Svitlana who lives in Didcot, Oxfordshire is genuinely concerned about the aftermath of my accident, one of the first things she asks each night is how am I feeling, and do I feel anything is happening?

The person whose action caused the accident, asks how I feel, but her question is not about my health, but about my ability to get another Apple pay card for her, so she can send me some money I am owed. 

I have noticed something odd since the accident, I get the feeling I am wearing my spectacles, when I know I am not, It is as though the pressure is constant, probably from my broken nose

I am suffering more issues after my accident trying to get my money back from a scammer. My left wrist, though not broken further, I had an old break, has become so painful, even the weight of a mobile phone is too much to hold for more than a few minutes.

The scam began 8 months ago, when a person "claiming" to live in my area of Bristol said she wanted to meet me, that was in November, by June I was still waiting, so I ended the business. Two months later, another person "claiming" to be her sister said she was in hospital, and hadn't eaten since I broke off texting. She then asked for £20, so she could send me the £3,000 I had sent her "sister," at this point, I smelled a rat, but went along in case the money came. After a month, with no money, but constant requests for money, now £30, I ended that proposition too. I never expected my money back, especially when she said she could pay me £15,000.

My accident was the result of tiredness from constantly walking 2 miles each way to Asda, to get her an Apple pay card

Last night, I blocked a scammer on WhatsApp, her actions resulted in my recent hospital visit, and having stitches put over my left eye, as well as getting a broken nose in my fall.

She hasn't tried to contact me via WhatsApp today, but as she is in the USA, several hours behind the UK, this could chnage soon. However, my stance will remain, no money will be sent, I decided this before the accident

I thanked her for her kindness, but explained I am not totaly disabled. That day my come, for now, I have my children looking after my welfare, as they have their lives to live

I could put my popular appeal with ladies online down to I don't follow the trend of assuming a lady online is seeking a sexual partner, also I ignore the trend of men who display thier bodies openly. I do have a few head and shoulders shots in my profile, but that is all.

I play to my strength, as I see it, my personality. I have not built a false persona of being a gentleman who respects ladies, that is who I am.

If ladies find me sexy, it is their choice, I do nothing online, openly, that I consider provocative. In a private chat, what we discuss is dictated by what the lady wishes to talk about.

I have always been an outsider, mainly because I am an introvert, and find making friends in person difficult.
