A technical victory
It is often said that John Surtees is the only racer to win both the F1 championship, and the Motorcycle world championship. Technically, this is true, he did wn the 1956 world championship, only because Geoff Duke was banned by the FIM for several months for supporting a rider's strike.
Despite this, there is no doubt, he was one of the greatest motorracers of all time.
