Freemasons
An old theory
The recent news that the identity of Jack the Ripper is "supposedly" a Jew is not news.
This has been the long-held view of any investigation taken place, while ignoring the most obvious clue.
I will admit, there will have been Jewish blood at the scene, London is the major port for people leaving Europe, on their way to the New World - USA - at the time of the murders, Jews were being hunted in Europe, and forced to flee. So, the East End of London became their refuge while they waited to save for a passage across the Atlantic Ocean.
The East End has always been the porest area of the city, it is a mainly blue-collar working class area for the docks, so anyone with the ability to work hard, and save is despised, such is the case of the Jews.
Another factor is apart from the final victim, the women were cut with nedical knowledge, again falsely pointng to a Jewsih connection. There are surgeons of many races, and religions.
Tampering with Evidence.
Tampering with evidence is a serious crime, which can result in a long prison term, yet, there is proof the police tampered with evidence in at least one of the murders, indicating a link to the Freemasons.
At one crime scene, the words "The Jueues are not men to be tampered with" was written in chalk on the wall behind the victim. This was shown in the reports of the police photographer. However, when the photograph was printed in the Illustrated Police Times; the word Jueues was replaced with Jews.
I have trawled the internet in search of the Jueues, the only thing I can find is a vauge reference to an a group of 15th Century busunessmen in Spain.
Freemasons will cover any crime, except treason, I know this from persoanl experience as I reported the crime I mention in my short story - Sexual Explosions - I reported the theft of a Roman figurine, which remained unsolved, when I left the Museum service 10 years later. My view is the theft occured on a floor patolled by ex-police officers, and they didn't want it to be shown they were not observant. I believe reporting the crime was a major factor in me not being promoted; the bosses feared that if I was promoted, I would go to the monthly securoty meeting, and bring the matter to record, this would be recorded, and action would have to be taken. There were other factors, mainly, they knew I was honest, and could not be bribed, and also I was for the workers, not the bosses.
It is possible the killer was a doctor who admitted himself to a mental institution, if he did this, he could come and go at will, thus giving him the alibi of being in an instiution.
Another possible suspect could have been a sailor, shortly after the Whitchapel murders ceased, a similair series happened in Russia. While a whaler would have the knowledge of cutting meat quickly, I doubt the Ripper murders were done by a sailor, the killer had medical knowledge who left little trace of the crime.
In short, the current theory is only following a theory as old as the crimes themselves.
