Offers from Abroad
In the past two years, I have had offers for my DVDs from Australia, Germany, and India. While I try to please the customer, I feel it unfair for the customer to have to pay postage costs that can be three times the cost of the item. I do, occasionally buy from outside the UK; the worst thing that happened to me was when I bought a set of DVDs from Spain, they were held up in the Netherlands for almost a month
I have a good business relationship with several eBay sellers in the UK, with whom i am a repeat buyer, and likewise I have several buyers who buy from me on a semi-regular basis.
Some of the DVDs I sell are so hot, they get sold almost as soon as I out them for sale, For example, the sets of the series The Girl from U.N.C.L.E. I bought for my late wife, which she never opened. They were only on the site for less than a day before I got an offer for their sale; the same goes for the box set of The Perils of Penelope Pitstop.
