The story Conan Doyle disliked

I imagine most, if not all, writers have a story they wrote they dislike. I know I have one.

In the case of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, the story is the The Adventure of Black Peter. This little heard of story is the story of a whaler who was found harpooned in a locked cabin.

To my knowledge, it has only been produced once for either film, or tv, that was back in the mid-1970's.
