Bristol Industrial Museum
Friday 19th December, 2025 was a spooky day for me.
I was on my way to visit the Latino Street Bites cafe, run by my friend, Michelle, in Redcliffe, Bristol. As I had to stop off in Bedminster to do some shopping on my way, I had to cross Bedminster Bridge, I realise the bridge has stood for over 100 years, but it feels weird to me, walking over water.
I stopped to watch the birds on the water, it was at this point I felt a strange pull. I felt as though I was being drawn to the water's edge again, the last time I had this feeling was over 30 years ago, when I worked in the Bristol Industrial Museum.
