If I am in an area, I try to buy from the Farmer's Market, rather than a big store, this way they farmer gets better value for his goods, as he doesn't have to pay for transport, or for using a conglomerate shopping group.

Reform UK could have taken down Labour

I have not done an in-depth study, so I may be wrong; as far as I can ascertain, the only "safe seat" for Labour is Diane Abbot. Even Keir Starmer could come down after his treacherous sell-out of the UK, to BLM, and the Muslim Brotherhood.

As for, Angela Rayner, Yvette Cooper, Rachel Reeves, and David Lammy, there remains one question. As they had a minute lead at the polls, why did Farage not challenge the seats? Angela Rayner's lead was 2%.

Labour Lies

Unless you are hard core Labour, and deny responsibility, the UK knows when, and how the economy was destroyed in 2000.

The situation will end, as did the last Labour government, under Tony Blair, with massive debts, and raging inflation. Labour will be wiped out, this time for generations, and the ensuing restrictions on spending will be blamed on the Conservative Party; I am willing to take bets on it going that way.

You can forget Reform UK, remember they had the opportunity to take key Labour seats, but Nigel Farage didn't. Ask yourself, why would the leader of a party, not challenge seats he could take to strengthen his party?

Young voters, who are usually Labour voters, don't realise where the austerity Labour talks about fixing began.

The period from 2000 - 2014 was considered by Labour voters to be a time of living it up, but at what cost?

Why the UK was doing so well, is because Tony Blair was living a lie, what the public didn't realise he was working on the principle of borrowing from Peter to pay Paul.

This policy, added to the cancellation of people working with a contract, and mass immigration lead to a state of unease in the UK, with rampant inflation, masses of jobs lost, and typical of Labour, they bailed, and blamed others for the severe cutbacks that had to be done to clean their mess up - does that sound familiar - it should as this is what Starmer, and his cronies are doing now.

What would I like for Christmas?

eBook sales

Apple or Barnes & Noble

My personal wish for Christmas would be for some eBook sales. The best sites are Apple, or for the USA, you can also use Barnes & Noble, my hope is that if you are given an eReader for a gift, you could be some of my selection, and I may get enough sales to be aid for the first time in 15 months.

I am not expecting anything, I have had the same wish for several years with no sales :( :(

My Christmas Wish hasn't changed over the decades, it is easy to understand as I am an animal lover.

I wish our Furry Friends in shelters, and on the streets could find a loving forever home.

Was Amber Heard trying to pull an O.J. Simpson?

It is my opinion that Amber Heard was trying to pull an O.J. Simpson. Be acquitted of a crime she had committed.

There is a large difference in the cases though. Simpson got off as he had earned his name in the NFL, at this time, outside the USA he was only another coloured actor in a small part in a low-budget film. Having earned his money in the NFL, he could afford a lawyer, with a dubious record, to twist his case, and muddy the facts enough to cause a hung jury.

Amber's error was to attack an actor who is well-respected in a mass media world, where he has millions of fans. If she had the presence of Eva Green, Julia Roberts, Meryl Streep, or Kate Winslet, she may have got the publicity she desired; as it was Johnny Depp had public support.

Ms. Heard could view the press coverage with the attitude of Irish poet, Brendan Behan, who said, "The only bad publicity is your obituary."
