The wrong choice

Switzerland

The summer before I got married, my friend, Michael, and I discussed our plans for a vacation. The choice was between Croatia and Switzerland. As we had been to Austria the previous year, we chose Switzerland, the best thing I can say about Switzerland is at least I went (once), I wouldn't go again, but that is my opinion.

Though both Austria and Italy supported Germany in WW2, I would happily go there for a holiday, for Austria it would be a return, for Italy, a long--held wish.

Being honest, the only thing Switzerland has over Austria is the mountains are higher. Switzerland was so expensive the trip almost took my money for the week in three days.
