Ulterior Motives
Publicity costs
Once, a long time ago, I was writer with a reputation for ghost story writing. I enjoyed writing those stories for many years, even if none sold.
Recently, there has been a lot of interest in my work, how much is genuine is hard to tell, being a cynic, all I see is people with an ulterior motive.
What they don't understand is that as a struggling Indie Writer, I can't afford the minimum publicity I am offered, and I can't justify spending $200, when that is more than I earned in 15 years as a writer.
They could be correct, with better publicity my eBooks could hit a new market, but the bottom line is I can't afford to pay
