Heatwave

 Frostpunk

From Tropico to Frostpunk
I know it is a silly notion 😀😀. In this heatwave, I feel like playing Frostpunk rather than Tropico, to give the feeling of being cooler.
I have not given Frostpunk a proper try out, though I considered buying Frostpunk 2, a few months ago

Steam Games could be heading for the rocks

 A high price to pay

Thief
Tropico
If Steam Games aren't careful, they could collapse. The reason for this is the announcement last night, that the mobile console is getting a 50% price hike.
I have been a player of Tropico since it began, T6 is the only version I didn't buy, mainly for personal reasons. I haven't given Thief a true playing, I struggle with first-person games. Among the other games I got from the site are Alan Wake, Frostpunk, and Cities: Skylines

Return to Tropico

 Tropico Focus

Frostpunk
This month, I was having doubts about how seriously my friend, Clara, in Whitchurch, Bristol was viewing our relationship. For the last two months, I have walked from my house in Hartcliffe to see her, it is only a 3 mile walk. Each of the 11 times, she has had a reason to turn me down, you can see why I doubted her.

Until a few days ago, I thought our relationship had gone from the warmth of Tropico to the icy wastelands of Frostpunk, yesterday, the air was cleared, I now agree, we ARE in a relationship

From Tropico to Frostpunk

 Frostpunk

I see no better way to view my possible romance with my friend in Whitchurch, Bristol, than in the comparrison of two of my computer games.
Two months ago when I found how close she is to my house in Hartcliffe, the future of our relationship would appear to be on the rise, and sunny like life on Tropico.
Now, after a series of cancelled dates, our romance, if we had one, is more like the barren frozen wastelands in Frostpunk

Tropico 6

 Tropico 5

A Thriving Business
I have enjoyed the Tropico series from the start, the only game I couldn't get on with was Tropico 2, where you build a pirate island.
Tropico 4 is my favourite, but I am getting on well with Tropico 5. I am undecided on buying Tropico 6, the buzz would be selling to other islands, possibly online gamers, one thing which interested me was the possibility of stealing well-known treasures from other countries to enhance my island, however they are so few to steal, having looked at the option, none attract me.
I can afford the game; one thing is the fact I won't being buying Frostpunk 2, I can't get on with Frostpunk, so there is no point buying the sequel

I saved myself from buying a Computer game

 Frostpunk

Tropico 5
Several months ago, I was enticed by the prospect of the computer game, Frostpunk. City building games such as the Tropico series are the games I enjoy the most, so I thought I would get Frostpunk as it is a city building/ survival game.
I didn't get to playing until a few months ago, as my year has been uprooted with the loss of my wife in January. A few weeks ago, I began playing the game, then decided, it was a good thing I did as I was planning to buy Frostpunk 2 soon; it is no use buying the sequel when I can't play the original.
I am getting on well with Tropico 5, I may get Tropico 6 in the near future if my finances improve.

Good news for me

 Frostpunk

CDKeys

Many moons ago, I bought the software to play the game Frostpunk from CD Keys. The problem was, at the time, my pc didn't have the capacity to play the game as it wasn't a gaming console. last year, my family upgraded my pc to a gaming console for a birthday/ Christmas present for me.

Recently, I have been trying to free space, last night, I was able to free enough space on the disc to install the game. I did try to play Metro Redux a short while ago, but my daughter, Sarah, told me it has a major hitch you cannot kill some of the monsters.

I am more at home playing games like Tropico, than First Person Shooter games, my reactions are not up to the speed for FPS games. I usually have problems with First Person games, as I find it hard to play when I don't know the position of the character. Saying that I am looking forward to playing Thief, as I loved the original Xbox game.
