There are many advantages to being in the IT Age; but, there are as many disadvantages (risks).

One of the major risks is your location. It is possible to fool the network by logging into it from a different VPV area. I knew one scammer who had several profiles on Facebook ranging from the UK to Italy, and the USA.

I didn't search her out; I didn't need to, she has an obvious tattoo on her right shoulder, while it is attractive, it is also a "tell."

These days, unless you have been chatting to a person, and feel safe, it is hard to judge their honesty. With so many sites showing areas in detail, the only way to tell if a person is running a scam is to ask them a question, the answer to which could only be known by a person in the area.

In these days of online security, and scams, people forget back in the 1970's there was a book which not only supplied the thief with your phone number, but your address - it was called a telephone directory.
