Bestselling Author scam

 Scambusted

SCAMBUSTER
If you get contacted by a person "claiming" to be a bestselling writer, it is usually a scam, how do I know?
Ask yourself, then the other person, how did you find out about me?
The most common reply I got was "I follow other writers, on Twitter." The other reply is " I can't tell you why."
Before you rush into anything, remember these things; if they are a bestseller, they would not know about you. They are busy writing their next book, and anyone with a but of IT know-how can download images from the internet, and create a false profile.

Until recently, I was plagued by people "claiming" to be a book promoter, and telling me they could influence my eBook sales, if I paid them for promotion.

The things to remeber here are anyone can make a banner to post online, and claim they are someone they are not. If you are paying a person to promote your work, you are out-of-pocket before you start. A true publisher will give you an advance on how they feel your book will sell. Most of the people "claiming" to be promoters are in Nigeria - the SCAM capital - they claim to have a degree, but the highest ranked University in the country is ranked lower than 800, making it tlower than a high school in the USA.

The X-box scam

  I knew what was coming

                                                      Gal Gadot

I am old, but not senile.

I saw through the SCAM before the lady played her cards.

When an attractive lady 20 years, or more, younger approaches me on either Facebook, or Twitter, I smell a scam attempt, and SCAMBUSTER is rarely wrong.

Last years, actress Gal Gadot (Wonderwoman) tried to get me to buy her chidren a $100 X-box game card. That is one reason I stopped supporting Israel.

Another SCAM broken

 SCAMBUSTER

The offer could be genuine, but as soon as a person who I don't know asks for money, I smell SCAM coming.
I wish one day I was wrong, better safe than sorry though.

SCAMBUSTER

One more down

They never learn

Tonight, I blocked another attempt to scam me via Facebook, and Google, but I was ahead of the game as usual.

The quick way I can tell what is coming is why would an attractive young lady wish to contact me, then keep complimenting my appearance?
I don't consider myself unattractive, on the other hand I don't consider myself worthy of endless praises from young ladies.
