I can't say I was in favour of Brexit

 I voted to stay out of the EU in 1972 

                                       I knew what was coming

I was not in favour of Brexit, the reason being I voted against joining the EU in 1972.

I was asked how I thought about Brexit when we left, and I replied "I agree with Nigel Lawson, why remain in a single market when 80 of the world is not in the EU?"

People now are seeing what I said back then is true. The EU is a free bank to support Germany. Not many people realise the UK, and the USA have supported Germany since the end of WW1, over 100 years ago.
