This is the third cover for my eBook,A Sailor's Love. The first featured singer, Janey Kirk, who I was chatting to at the time. The second was a botched job by a person on Fiverr, after seeing what he did, I decided to upgrade the cover, by using the Kindle software from Amazon, the result from my works stand out better

The headline is NOT a grab for readers, it IS a geological fact.

As mentioned in my eBook, A Sailor's Love, the coast, especially the English Channel coast is collapsing into the sea. The problem is the coast is made of chalk which is easily eroded by the tidal effects of the waves.

Each month for the last year, there have been reports online of large chunks of the coast from Devon to Kent falling into the channel. These are not the usual small chunks you can miss, these are slabs of of hundreds of kilos, causing beaches to be cleared.

There is a report online of a builder who began building a luxury hotel, only to find the land below his site is riddled with caves, the extra weight of his building caused a major subsidence, which stopped only 40 meters from the site of the building

I don\t have many wishes for the new year, my main two are that my romance with my friend Clara, who lives in Redcliffe, Bristol blooms after several mishaps this month,

My other wish is that my romance eBook - A Sailor's Love - sells on Draft2Digital, if that hapens I will get my royalties for the first time in three years

I cannot recommend Fiverr

I realise everyone's experinces are different, this is mine.

If I was wriitng, which my experince with Fiverr put me off doing. I would not recommend using the site.

I sent the image above to be used as a cover for an eBook, and the people recommended to me, were to put it midly inept. The cover they sent me had no title, or name visible, and these were being paid to make book covers.

As for the services, what can I say? I was quoted $100.00, which was bumped to $150.00, for second grade work.

I did the image above in 10 minutes using the Amazon KDP free software, and I am very satisfied with the result.

Tonight I contacted a firm who claim to get money back from a scam.

While I cannot prove the set up for my eBook (above) was a scam; there were aspects which made me wonder, after the event.

Why did a bestselling writer in the USA contact me?

Why didn't she say how she found out about me?

Why was her Twitter profile deleted days after the "supposed" contact?

Why did her "agent" change her name, then stop contacting me after two weeks?

There is also the fact of the 50% jump in the price of the deal we made, with the added charge of $50 for adding the book on Amazon.

When I saw what her agency had done, my reaction was OMG!!!!!!! I can do better using the KDP software; they ruined what had been a good cover. The title, and author name could NOT be seen.
