A wrong diagnosis
Several years ago, a specialist made a wrong diagnosis which has lead to me having two biopsies for no reason.
The results of the tests were as I expected; I do NOT have Cancer. I could have told the specialist that if he had asked me one question.
However, he thought he knew better than me, he spotted a lump on my kidney, and jumped to the false conclusion it was cancer. Which is why no cancerous cells were found.
If he'd said, "we found a lump, have you had an accident which may have caused the lump?"
I would have replied, "Yes, many years ago, I had a cycling accident."
From here, he could have looked for a blood clot, not cancer cells which are not there.
But, what do I know, I am only the person in pain?
