The Error of my ways

 India Update

When I began my selection of movies from India last year. I brashly bought up masses of DVDs with actresses I liked, without seeing who they were in the film with. I realise now that was a big error leading to where I find myself selling DVDs on eBay. 

I soon found out that having a movie with Raveena Tandon in, often meant having to watch Govinda :(  Buying a movie with Madhuri Dixit in, I had to watch Aamir Khan, and watching Reena Roy involved films with Jeetendra. I was more fortunate with films with Rekha as she usually appeared in good movies, rather than a love story alongside Amitabh Bachchan.

That is a reason I prefer older films, they were usually a story with music, rather than a musical with little acting, which was the trend when Bollywood came into fashion in the late early 1990's.
