Selling eBooks was a dead-end
DVD Auction
My DVD sales are going well, far better than my eBook sales did in my 15 years as a writer.
While that may sound as though the DVD sales are bringing in masses of cash, it best to recall I haven't sold an eBook this year. If I get a payment from Draft2Digital every other year, that is a miracle for me. The problem in they use the Lending Library system.
What this means is a library pays Draft2Digital for the eBook, and the reader pays the library to get the story, unless the books sell a lot, the writer never sees a dime; the hang-up is there is no definitive number of sales to reach, so they writer never gets paid.
And we worried about online piracy!
