I didn't seek the attention I am getting both on WhatsApp, and SoulmatesMeet, but for some reason, beyond me, ladies find me attractive.

Though I am old, and should start taking things slower, there are a number of things I need to do in the garden this summer. The main item is to pull down some ironwork we used for hanging baskets. I had planned to re-use them, but they are rusted, and old. The best use for them is supports for the side of the path, where I plan to raise the beds, and plant more plants to attract the bees and butterflies

I have almost resigned myself to spending my last days with no female companion. I was in contact with a lady who "claims" to live in Whitchurch, not far from where I live in Hartcliffe, Bristol. The opinion of my granny friends is they think I am too hot to handle. Several of my online contacts are trying to arrange to meet me, many for sex.

I am mystifed as to what ladies on Signal, Telegram, Twitter, WhatsApp, and Zangi find attractive about me. Could that be the reason why ladies see me as attractive, that I am not pushing myself as being attractive?

Part of the attraction could be that I show the ladies the respect I feel they deserve, and never chat about sex, unless they choose to.

I have had ladies from mid-20's to late 60's, from the USA, Canada, and the UK asking to meet me. There is one lady who I wish to meet, my close friend, Clara, who lives in Whitchurch, Bristol. It isn't only that Clara lives near to where I live in Hartcliffe that is important, we have formed a relationship based on love, and trust.

I am from Yorkshire.

I have lived in the Bristol area since 1963, and in Bristol since 1983, when I got married.

My wife of 38 years died in January, 2025.

I am romantic, and believe in love.

I can cook, I enjoy gardening, growing herbs, walking by the sea, and in the woods listening to nature.

I am teetotal, partially by choice.

I am disabled, but I can walk, if slowly. My disability is a torn tendon, the short version of the injury is I got it playing sports in the Royal Air Force in 1974. For years, I knew it was there, but it wasn't an issue, until one rainy July day in 2011, when the tendon tore for good.

After leaving the RAF, I worked for Bristol City Council for 15 years in the museums.

My music tastes are varied, ranging from classical to jazz of the 50s, and from folk to rockabilly.

I am an awardwinning writer, a matter I rarely mention
