I am not the young man as portrayed in this Barbara Stanwyck and Willam Holden film, but my friend Svitlana considers me a treasure, we never thought in our 70s, we'd find romance again, but we have.
Like the William Holden character, I could fight, but would rather not. In his case, he wishes to be a musician, in my case, my strength scares me. I knew long ago, if I let myself go I could do a lot of damage, that is why I try not to get into fights. Some people see this as a weakness, but it takes me more strength to walk away, than to stand and fight.
