Alan's Global Harem
I could jokingly say I have a harem, on a mature dating app we use, I have several ladies my age, and twice as many younger than me, asking me for sex.
If I was asked who I found the most attractive lady, I would be hard pressed to name the lady, so many I consider beautiful.
I am flattered by the attentions of ladies my age, especially as they include lawyers, doctors, and ladies running a business. I think why they gravitate to me is that after chasing a hectic life of work, they see me as a way to calm down.
I had a similiar discussion years ago, with the curator Francis Greenacre, when I worked in Bristol Museum. He was approaching retirement, and I asked him what memories he had as he'd spent his life chasing degree, after degree to enhance his reputation in the art world? He couldn't answer the question, as he'd spent his life in college, or unversity.
