Back in the day, people who lived on the edges of cities were known as "Burbs," from living in the suburbs.

With new termonolgy, we are now Rednecks.

I was asked by friend in Seattle, many years ago, could I live in a city like Las Vegas? I replied, no, the constant flashing lights, and noise would have me bed-ridden with a migraine within a week. That is why I could not enjoy life in Japan, it is too commercial, and packed.

I like to live where I know help is at hand, if needed, but I don't have ppl in my face 24/7.
