Catch Pike
A strong taste
One way to save wildife on rivers is to catch Pike. Decades ago, Pike was eaten by thousands of people, I have had it, it is a nice fish if you enjoy a stong, earthy taste.
By catching pike, you can clear rivers, and restore wildlife, they kill anything in the water, from small fish to ducks. They are hard to net, as you need to gaff them ASAP, or they'll take your fingers off
