Why do people think I still write?
Last week, I had a short chat on Twitter with the Children's Writer, Matthew Paul Turner, don't have the correct coverage."
He asked why I stopped writing, when I told him it was because I was spending hours writing a story nobody would read, he came back with the standard comment, "Perhaps it because you don't have the correct ammount of coverage."
What he forgets is that as a bestseller, the cost of publicity is little compared to the book sales you can be assured of getting. However, as a struggling Indie Writer, I need to justify any expense, and while to him $200 is a minimum outlay, to me, it is a fortune I will not recoup.
