A cold day in July
The song by Joy Lynn White about a break-up is very apt for me.
However, there is one BIG difference, she is talking about the break-up of a relationship, as I haven't met the lady who "cliams" to be in a relationship with me, to my mind, I am not in a relationship. We have made a dozen dates, and she has not turned up, enough said.
She "claims" to love me, yet she refuses to meet me.
She calls me "her man," and asked me to be be her exclusive friend.
I do NOT feel special, and her exclusive friendship will be over soon, unless things change.
In short, if we haven't met by July, the "relationship" will be over.
