Fighting the Dragon
For months, I have been fighting the urge to drown the sorrows of a failed friendship / relationship with a large dose of the vodka I have in my house.
The thing which kept me in check was the possible romance with a lady in Bristol, who I thought was serious about me, now my doubts are reaching a dangerous stage, as she admitted she was telling lies about why she kept not turning up to dates, she had asked for.
She kept saying we were in a relationship, I kept saying to me, it is a friendship as we have not met.
While I accept her reasons for not turning up, why did she feel she had to show me disrespect by telling lies, this casts doubts on what may, or may not happen, in the next two months. After August, if we have not met, everything is closed
