The same Scenario
The danger within.
In July, I was told there was a lot of interest in my eBook - A Sailor's Love - being despperate for recognition as a writer, after 15 years of being rejected; I let myself be conned. The only interest I have had is from "promoters" in Nigeria. That is a great joke, when they contacted me - before I blocked them on Twitter for being a scam - they knew far less than I do about the world of publishing.
They may have a degree from some remote establishment "claiming" to be a university, but I have trying to sell eBooks for 16 years, and I've forgot more about selling than they have learned.
Today, the same scenario unfolded online; I was contacted by a writer I had had no contact with before; he claimed to have a promoter who helped him become a bestseller. That is the FOURTH time, I have heard that since July. This time, the scammer "claims" to be Grant Blackwood.
I wonder if whoever it is can answer a simple question for me?
