How did I come back so quick?

Financially, it will take me a few months to get over the damage, the lady calling herself Clara Kent did to me. I was put on to her real identity, Pamela Olsted, by someone in the USA, and yes some of the photos I was sent by "Clara" match those of Pamela Olsted, a lady with a criminal record for Identity Theft.

While I am struggling, for now, financially; I got over her almost immediately emotionally. I was the one who ended our partnership, I was tired of her lies about not being able to meet me.

A strange dynamic

I'd be telling lies if I said the last year has been less than horrorific for me, though the the last two months of knowing Svitlana took some of the nastiness away.

In November of 2026, I was approached by a person calling themselves Clara Kent, who "claimed" to live in Bristol.Her name is Pamela Olsted.From the outset, our online chat appeared strained, she would agree with what i was saying, but never continue the conversation. Not long after we began, I had the impression she wasn't in the UK, but I kept the link, hoping she'd prove me wrong, which she didn't. She lives in Pennsylvania in the USA.

Two months ago, I cut ties with her, a few weeks later her sister contacted me to say Pamela was in hospital, and hadn't eaten for weeks. The sister, then said she would pay off the debt Pamela owed me. From the outset, I considered this another scam. After all, her sister had lied to me for months, why would I believe her?

Two months of stress later, I am still waiting for my refund, and I doubt it will come

It isn't impossible, but highly unlikely the girl "claiming" to be the younger sister was telling the truth. The problem is she is in her 20's, and Pamela Olsted is in her mid-50s.

The second error Pamela's "sister" made was saying the sister who "died" was the oldest of the three, when Pamela told me she was five years younger than her.

All of it is behind me now, I HAVE a lady in my life who DOES live in the UK, and wishes to meet me.

Earlier this evening, Pamela Olsted's sister tried to convince me she's been in hospital in Bristol, since I stopped chatting to her, several weeks aga. It didn't work, if she is, I am not concerned. She lied to me for months, why should I care what happens to her?

Looking back, my chats with Pamela Olsted always seemd one-sided, she would I agree with what I said, but rarely put thoughts forward to enhance the chat.

With my new friend, Svitlana, things are much different, we chat openly, with Svitlana contributing to the chat as much as responding to my comments. At times, she gets a litte ahead of where I see our friendship, that is because she wants a relationship. I want a relationship too, if we take things at the correct pace I feel we'll get our wish

This weekend will hopefully end my connection with scammer Pamela Olsted. Her sister "claims" to be willing to clear the debt I am owed.

While the ammount is no gold rush, it will relieve my mental health strain after 8 months of worry.

I can't say I will miss Pamela, we never met, and I'd had the feeling she was lying for months, I gave her many opportunities to prove me wrong.

The debt clearance will make it a lot easier for me to chat to, and meet my lady friend, in Didcot, Oxfordshire.

Hopefully, by tomorrow evening I can be rid of the stench of Pamela Olsted aka Clara Kent.

Her sister has said, she will pay off Pamela's debts. I won't lie, having that money back WILL make a big improvement in both my mental health state, and my finances. For the first time since November, we can eat each week, as I was sending the money, we had to go a week without food.

It has taken months for me to regain the trust of my children, they told me she was a SCAMMER, and I had the feeling too, but I was willling to give her the opportunity to prove me wrong, which she never did.

If you get approached by this creature, block and report her. She is Pamela Olsted, a scammer charged with identity theft in the USA.

Her sister had promised to refund some money I sent, when I thought I was helping a lady who wished to meet me. Learning of Pamela's police record, I was wary it was another scam, but the idea of sending £20 to get my £3,000 returned was at the back of my mind. 

Over July and August, her sister kept telling me she needed £20 to send for the bank to send the money. I got wary when I saw one week the re-payment was around 90% sent, and the next it wa back to 60%. 

Despite what her sister keeps saying, I am certain I won't see any of my money, this period has lead to me suffering depression, not only from the mental strain, but I lost the respect of my children

This lady "claims" to be the sister of Pamela Olsted, the scammer who has £3,000 of my money. I think she is planning another scam, she keeps asking for £20, so she can send me the money. I don't wish to do this, her sister lied to me for several months, but if I don't take a chance, I won't get the money.

I am willing to go on this route for a month, then I will cut my losses, and write the money off.

She may be attractive, but she does nothing for me, our contact is business; I have no interest in her beyond getting my money.

As Pamela and I never met, it was easy for me to move on. I now have a lady friend in Oxfordshire, who DOES wish to meet me.

For weeks, if not months, I had suspected scammer Pamela Olsted of lying about her Apple gift card. For every three I sent, she "claimed" one was faulty, that is well above accepted levels, howver, a week before I ended our business arrangement, she closed the case. Desperate for money, she sent a photo of a "supposed" fault report on a card. However, she made several MAJOR errors.

She over-estimated my patience, which had ran out the week before.

She keeps trying to get in contact via her relatives, but I told them, I have moved on, and found another lady, who DOES live in the UK. I told a young girl "pretending" to be her sister, she's been telling me lies for several months, and I was NOT interested in her.

This afternoon, I achieved my objective of getting a blog about Pamela Olsted pushed out of the viewable statistics of my blog. She is a scammer based in the USA, guilty of identity theft. She contacted me a few days ago, asking if I missed her? She got her answer, without a reply, I blocked her on WhatsApp.

The main reason I got over scammer Pamela Olsted so soon is because my friend Svitlana, and I formed a friendship from the get-go which has been relaxed.

Getting over the loss of the contact with Pamela Olsted was easy, we never met, and chatting to her was a one-way street, tbh, it was a strain to chat with PO. Getting over the financial damage she, and her sister did is going to take a lot longer. This financial damage is putting a strain on my friendship with Svitlana, as I have limited funds, I cannot chat for long, and Svitlana thinks I avoid her.

As the final quarter of 2026 approaches, I can say this year has been another year of hell for me. I suffered a cash shortage caused by knowing a scammer called Pamela Olsted, who "claimed" to live not far from me in Bristol. We began an online chat in November 2025, and I ended it in June 2026, I think she hoped for it to end in August, as her birthday is in July.

The only good thing that came out of knowing her is I found ladies do find me attractive, as I added my profile to two dating apps.

If there is a plus to the ongoing scam, it is the exercise has resulted in me losing weight.

I never expected the sister of the scammer, Pamela Olsted, to keep her promise to refund the loan I sent her sister. Yesterday, returning from Asda, Whitchurch, Bristol, I decided if she asked for another £20 to send the loan, I would tell her to forget it. With help from my family, I am managing to recover from my losses, the money I won't be sending will help me get out of my overdraft

From the responses to my appearance on a Mature Dating site, I wouldn't be suprised if Pamela Olsted did miss our chats.

I was sure she would try to contact me, and she has, but I didn't reply, why should I, she lied to me for months. 

Her sister contacted me too, but got a cold reply. I have no interest in her, other than my money. Her sister tried to convince me she has been ill since I cut her out of my life, and she is in a hospital in Bristol. I may have fallen for the trick before, but after giving me three addresses where she is "supposed" to live, within 8 months, I took the ICC (I couldn't Care) view. It is easy to look up a hospital online.

Besides, I have moved on, and have formed true friendship with a lady in Oxfordshire. 

After months of being lied to, I would never trust anything she said, other than she misses me, and I am attractive. My popularity on Charming Talk is not only about my attractiveness, it also about how pleasant, and respectful to the ladies I am.

I would like to think when Svitlana says she would miss me, if I wasn't online, it is true, but she is an attractive lady, and I can't help thinking she has other male friends. I hope I am overthinking.

Have I missed chatting to Pamela aka Clara?

Yesterday, the lady "claiming" to be the sister of Pamela Olsted who got me involved in her scam last year, sunk herself, with no possibility of regaining creditability in my eyes.

                                                        What happened?

I will take you back a month, then run the sequence of events.

A month ago, she approached me, saying she would pay me £15,000 to cover what I was owed. I pointed out I was only owed £3,000, she said she was happy to pay me in multiples of the sum owed, that seemed hinky to me.

After dropping to my total, via a suggestion of £10,000, she then asked for £20 to complete the bank order, as the order was 90% sent, after I sent the money, she asked for another £20, as the percentage dropped to 65%, this prcocess went on for weeks.

Yesterday, her cover was blown apart, during a chat, I said Pamela had asked me to get her Apple cards in all weathers, that is why my right ankle has swollen so badly, her reply was, who is Pamela?

If I wasn't certain it is a SCAM, after yesterday I am now, there again, from the start I knew it was a scam.

To show how evil Pamela Olsted is, she "claimed" her sister died of Covid, knowing my wife died from the illness only a year before. She could be telling the truth, but as she had been telling me lies for months, I take it with a large dose of salt, in hindsight. She also "claimed" her daughter Ellah was ill, to gain sympathy. At the time, I had serious doubts about that, she said Ellah was 8, while it is not impossible for a lady in her late 40's to have a child, it is highly unlikely, as there are a lot of medical risks involved. The latest development is a lady "claiming" to be Pamela's younger sister told me she is in hospital in Bristol, again, I take that with a dose of salt. Knowing I live in Bristol, it is easy to find a hospital here.

I am very pleased I met Svitlana (above), on the site SoulmateMeets, we have moved to Charming Talks for our online chat now. Our chats are very different to those I thought I had with Pamela.

I am pleased to say that soon I can put the 8 months I chatted to the SCAMMER Pamela Olsted behind me. In the next week, her sister is planning to clear the debt of £3,000 I am owed.

This money will only ease my standard of living, but it will ease the strain on my mental health.

I didn't take long to get over her because we never had a serious connection, I knew she was lying back in February, when she gave me two addresses in Bristol, within one chat. They are close, by car, but two addresses was suspicious. I kept chatting to see if she would prove me wrong, but she never did.

I am pleased to say, I formed a true friendship with the lady on this post, Svitlana lives in Didcot, Oxfordshire, and we get on well during our online chat sessions.

Unlike Pamela, Svitlana chats, I always had the feeling Pamela was going along with what I said, rather than putting ideas forward to move the chat,
